| Jann Pasler, Professor of Music at the University of California, San Diego and also a documentary filmmaker, began practicing this art in 1976 under the direction of I-Hsiung Ju in Charlottesville, Virginia. Since 1990, she has been studying with the master-teacher Jean Shen. Her work has won awards at the Del Mar Fair. |
