| For me, painting is like taking a peaceful walk in the mountains. As I move the brush on the paper, leaving trails of ink, I can feel the rocks, the trees, the mountains and the birds. Over the years I have developed an affinity for the traditional landscape painting of the Muromachi period in Japan (1300s). Much of my painting now has its basis in the design and style of this time period. |
