The appeal of Chinese Brush Painting is what introduced me to new
ways to see common things--that is a large part of its joy.  I have
also come to understand the old Chinese saying, "if you would to
paint a horse, then you should think like a horse"; if you would paint
a tree, be a tree -- and that is another large part of its joy.
